Wolverine
The season for observation and photographing of the wolverine (Gulo gulo) starts in February-March continuing all the way to October-November. The cubs are born during late winter, and they follow their mother until the autumn.
The wolverine can be described as a curious wanderer. It is always digging rock holes and hollows as well as hummocks searching for food. It is also an agile tree-climber. With small tidbits, it can thus easily be lured into places where photographing is convenient.
Wolverines are frequent visitors of Viiksimo area, whereby it is an easy object of photography. For photographing, we offer hides in various locations providing various backgrounds.
